Position Summary

The Brand Specialist will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns for Independent Food Company’s portfolio of brands. This role requires a creative and analytical professional who can manage projects, maintain brand consistency, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Management

  • Assist the Brand Manager in developing and implementing brand strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to across all touchpoints, maintaining consistency in visuals, messaging, and tone.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for brand growth.

2. Campaign Development & Execution

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
  • Coordinate with design and content teams to develop creative assets for campaigns, including digital, print, and in-store materials.
  • Monitor the performance of campaigns and provide actionable insights for optimization.

3. Customer Engagement & Experience

  • Work with customer experience teams to ensure the brand message resonates with the target audience.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with influencers, agencies, and partners to amplify brand reach.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve brand perception and loyalty.

4. Digital Presence

  • Oversee the brand’s online presence, including social media platforms, websites, and other digital channels.
  • Coordinate with the digital marketing team to ensure cohesive branding across all digital marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on social media and digital marketing KPIs.

5. Reporting & Analytics

  • Track brand performance metrics, including sales trends, customer feedback, and campaign ROI.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on brand performance and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance brand positioning and marketing strategies.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, procurement, and product development teams to ensure alignment on brand objectives.
  • Support the creation of training materials to educate staff on brand values, standards, and goals.

Key Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a similar role, preferably within the F&B or hospitality industry.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of branding principles and marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
  • Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
