Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues, including POS systems and Windows installations.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor the performance of IT systems, install software updates, perform regular backups, and ensure system security.
  • Network & Server Support: Assist with network installations and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, VPNs, routers, switches, and firewalls). Help configure and maintain company servers.
  • CCTV Installation & Support: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, ensuring proper connectivity and integration.
  • User Training & Documentation: Provide end-user training for software, hardware, and POS systems. Create and maintain user manuals, technical documentation, and FAQs.
  • Security Management: Assist with maintaining system security, ensuring protection from malware, viruses, and unauthorized access.
  • Hardware/Software Management: Install and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, POS systems, and peripherals. Ensure compliance with software licensing and inventory management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT staff and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Customer Service: Prioritize and manage support requests efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction and timely resolution of IT issues.

Requirements:

  • 4 years+ of Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, software installation, and network configurations.
  • Experience with POS systems installation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with CCTV installation and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience with remote support and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and practices to ensure safe and secure systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Information Technology
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
  • Experience with cloud services or advanced network security is a bonus.
  • Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages is a plus
