Job Title: COO Office Manager

Independent is for ambitious people who want to advance in their careers, and we are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive PMO/Office Manager to work closely with the COO and manage the day-to-day execution of priorities. This role goes beyond traditional PA responsibilities and focuses on driving follow-through, structure, and accountability across meetings, projects, and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the COO’s daily workflow, priorities, projects, and follow-ups
  • Ensure meeting actions, decisions, and deliverables are tracked and executed
  • Coordinate project agendas, timelines, and cross-functional inputs
  • Act as a central point of coordination for the CEO’s office
  • Proactively flag risks, delays, and misalignment
  • Maintain structure, documentation, and operational discipline
  • Ability to coordinate cross-departmental activities, initiatives, and projects

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and execution skills
  • Experience in PMO, office management, operations, or similar roles
  • Confident communicator with senior stakeholders/founders
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work at a fast pace
